Payoneer is seeking a skilled Treasury Data Analyst to join our vibrant team in Bangalore, India. This pivotal role involves contributing to a global team focused on transforming treasury data into actionable insights through sophisticated reporting, modeling, and analytics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional ability in leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) tools and automation to deliver impactful analysis to both operational teams and senior management. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, possesses strong analytical acumen, and can translate complex data into clear, scalable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of operational and data-centric tasks, including:
- Assisting in the creation of comprehensive report packages with actionable insights for operational teams and management.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated treasury reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) for daily, weekly, and monthly operational needs.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and optimize data workflows.
- Continuously enhancing existing dashboards and reports based on evolving stakeholder feedback.
- Designing and implementing robust data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and consolidating treasury data from diverse systems.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of cash flows, bank fees, foreign exchange (FX) rates, and investment returns.
- Performing meticulous reconciliation of treasury data across multiple sources and resolving any discrepancies.
- Supporting the preparation of regulatory reporting requirements for various international jurisdictions.
- Handling crucial data and system-related tasks, including maintaining a global controlled environment for the treasury management system (TMS) and performing daily updates. This includes data capture, mapping, verification, and reconciliation within the TMS.
- Providing timely support and resolving treasury-related queries from internal stakeholders.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and refinement of Treasury policies, procedures, operational controls, and standards.
- Participating actively in other general team-related tasks, processes, and projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting/Finance, or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in treasury or finance-related roles.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or Looker, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including expertise in pivot tables, complex formulas, macros, and VBA.
- Experience with data querying languages like BigQuery for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Python, R) is a significant advantage.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong aptitude for IT.
