S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a skilled Translator/Data Analyst with proficiency in Polish to join their team. This role involves a blend of language expertise and financial data analysis, contributing to the expansion of market information and data coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate and localize high-level documents between Polish and English, accurately capturing the style and tone of the original content.
• Conduct primary and secondary research to gather relevant financial information.
• Address client queries accurately, comprehensively, and in a timely manner.
• Perform quality assurance on translated and localized materials.
• Develop and maintain language glossaries, dictionaries, translation memories, and language-specific style guides.
• Achieve individual and team targets for delivery, quality, and excellence.
• Stay updated on the latest translation and research guidelines and policies.
• Report daily work performed and address any quality feedback within specified timeframes.
• Participate in assigned projects to expand market information and data coverage.
• Test new tools and applications to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Escalate concerns promptly and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Collaborate with other data sets and stakeholders to support team expansion and transformation goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Native or proficient competency in Polish and English is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a translator.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Polish and English.
• Familiarity with Polish financial markets is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial concepts, terms, and market-related data, including financial statements (IS, BS, CF) and Key Ratios.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail for objective research.
• Proficient in internet research and desktop applications, including Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective cross-team communication and professional handling of issues.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines and service level agreements.
• An inquisitive and investigative mindset, with a proactive, motivated, and positive attitude.
• Comfortable learning and adapting to modern technologies, processes, and tools.
• Language proficiency certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in translation and localization projects, especially within the financial industry.
• Experience with Lean principles, automation, and machine translation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and VBA Macro is a plus.
