Key Responsibilities:

• Translate and localize high-level documents from Turkish to English and vice-versa, accurately reflecting the original style and tone.
• Conduct primary and secondary research to gather relevant financial information.
• Address client queries (internal and external) accurately, comprehensively, and in a timely manner.
• Perform quality assurance on translated and localized materials.
• Develop and maintain language glossaries, dictionaries, translation memories, and draft language-specific style guides.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team performance targets, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest translation and research guidelines and policies.
• Maintain daily work logs and address any quality feedback promptly.
• Participate in assigned projects to expand market information and data coverage.
• Contribute to testing new tools and applications to enhance team productivity.
• Initiate and implement process improvement and automation projects.
• Escalate issues appropriately and maintain clear communication with colleagues and management.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to support organizational goals.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proficiency or native command of Turkish and English.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a translator.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Turkish.
• Familiarity with Turkish financial markets.
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial concepts, terms, and market-related data, including financial statements (IS, BS, CF) and key ratios.
• Strong analytical and research skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in internet research and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective cross-team communication and professional handling of issues.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines and service level agreements.
• An inquisitive and proactive nature, with a highly motivated and positive attitude.
• Eagerness to learn modern technologies, processes, and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Language proficiency certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in translation and localization projects, especially within the financial industry.
• Experience with Lean principles, automation, and machine translation.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and VBA Macro is advantageous.
