Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a subsidiary of Koniag Government Services, is seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist / Instructional Designer for a full-time, onsite position at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. This critical role requires a TS/SCI security clearance and focuses on developing and maintaining the enterprise curriculum library for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) training. The objective is to ensure high-quality instruction and effective training delivery across all Air Combat Command (ACC) wings. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining various training content formats such as self-paced modules, Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) session guides, and Train-the-Trainer certification packages. The specialist will also manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including user enrollments, completion tracking, reporting, and integration with the Token and License Management System (TLMS) to enforce training-before-access policies. Developing and delivering Train-the-Trainer certification programs is essential for building sustainable training capacity at each ACC wing. The role involves creating digital learning modules on AI and RPA fundamentals, platform-specific instruction (AskSage and approved tools), Responsible AI ethics, and security awareness. VILT materials will include facilitator scripts, slide decks, and interactive exercises. Maintaining separate curriculum versions for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and AFSCI classification levels is also a key duty. The specialist must ensure training materials are updated within 30 days of identified knowledge gaps and maintain version control with change logs. LMS administration will be performed across all classification levels using DAF365 or a government-approved equivalent, with a focus on generating comprehensive reports. Troubleshooting LMS technical issues and ensuring LMS performance meet Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) standards are also part of the role. The position requires designing and delivering Train-the-Trainer certification programs, coordinating with Mobile Training Teams, assessing trainer qualifications, and maintaining a registry of certified trainers. Ongoing support and refresher training for wing trainers are expected, along with tracking program effectiveness. A proactive approach to identifying and addressing knowledge gaps by reviewing service desk data is required, as is analyzing training metrics to improve curriculum. Collaboration with Help Desk Analysts, AI/RPA developers, and Mobile Training Teams to incorporate operational lessons learned is crucial, along with participation in quarterly lessons-learned sessions. This position offers a salary range of $112,000 - $130,000 annually and includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, and three weeks of paid time off.
