Train Reliability Data Analyst – Bangalore

Alstom is seeking a full-time Train Reliability Data Analyst in Bengaluru to drive improvements in service reliability for our mobility solutions. This role combines data analysis expertise with a passion for reliability engineering to enhance performance metrics and operational efficiency.

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Analyze service reports and statistical data to assess fleet performance and propose continuous improvement actions.
• Manage the CMMS database (reliability-focused) and coordinate with cross-functional teams (after-sales, engineering, project management).
• Prepare and present analyses of service incidents/failures during internal monitoring meetings, ensuring compliance with RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders—including customers—to defend Alstom’s interests and deliver RAMS-compliant reports.
• Optimize tools and processes through structured, hands-on approaches, balancing technical expertise with strong communication skills.

We value attitude and growth over experience, offering training in RAMS and statistical methods. Ideal candidates will have 2–6 years of experience in database management, statistics, and railway/rolling stock knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

• Feeding data analysts with service reports for analysis.
• Defending Alstom’s reliability performance with stakeholders.
• Ensuring QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) compliance in RAMS analyses.
• Proactively challenging data/results for consistency and adequacy.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in database management (MS Office, SharePoint).
• Strong statistical and reliability measurement skills.
• Fluency in English, customer/product orientation, and structured problem-solving.
