Role Overview

As a Research Manager in the Data & Collaborations team, you will own the end-to-end research process. This includes identifying high-potential themes, conducting in-depth analysis of datasets, uncovering meaningful trends, and transforming these findings into insightful, publishable narratives. Your work will directly support reports, partnerships, and collaboration initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy and strategic relevance of all outputs. This is an individual contributor role focused on diving deep into emerging sectors and generating significant, data-backed insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Topic Discovery: Proactively identify relevant and engaging topics using internal data, market trends, and industry signals.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct structured, in-depth research using Tracxn’s proprietary databases and external sources to generate actionable insights.
• Data Interpretation: Analyze complex datasets, summarize key findings clearly, and present them in an actionable format.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner effectively with the Data & Collaborations team and other internal stakeholders to advance ongoing initiatives.
• Content Development: Translate research insights into well-defined content briefs, outlines, and foundational inputs for publishing and partnership teams.
• Ad Hoc Research: Provide critical support for on-demand research requests concerning collaborations, awards, and special projects.
• Trend Monitoring: Continuously track and report on industry trends, emerging themes, and ecosystem shifts within Tracxn’s core focus areas.

Qualifications We Are Seeking:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in research, data analysis, market intelligence, or a related field.
• Demonstrated strength in understanding, analyzing, and interpreting data to derive significant insights.
• Proven track record of writing high-quality research reports, insight notes, and sector-deep analyses.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Skill in translating complex research findings into clear, concise, and publishable content ideas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and clarity.
