Role Overview

We are The Core Engineering, a global team dedicated to preventing, detecting, and mitigating regulatory and reputational risks across Goldman Sachs. We build platforms using petabyte-scale data fueling AI/ML models for Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic frameworks.

Your Impact

• Design scalable end-to-end GenAI solutions tailored for compliance applications, including RAG pipelines and embeddings.
• Solve complex problems using advanced techniques like model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with compliance officers and legal counsel to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Promote best practices for MLOps, version control, testing, and documentation.
• Maintain production-ready code adhering to strict coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, etc. (7+ years for Bachelor/Master; 4+ for PhD).
• Strong foundation in deep learning architectures and Python libraries.
• Demonstrated expertise in GenAI techniques: RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, AI agents.
• Experience with MLOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
