EY is seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for driving automation expediency, proposing automation approaches, developing automation frameworks, and automating manual test cases. You will ensure the maintenance and execution of regression tests, meeting all automation needs and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance framework architecture.
• Build framework components and libraries.
• Strong experience in automating web application testing using Selenium WebDriver with TestNG Framework.
• Strong knowledge of web service automation using Rest Assured.
• Strong knowledge of Protractor.
• Knowledge of mobile application testing using Appium.
• Design and implement test automation strategy.
• Create and obtain approval for automation test plans.
• Design and implement automation frameworks.
• Create, organize, and manage test automation resources.
• Create, enhance, debug, and run test cases.
• Provide automation test estimations.
• Manage the defect management process.
• Handle changes and conduct regression testing.
• Resolve object identification and error handling issues.
• Generate test summary reports.
• Coordinate with test and development teams to resolve issues.
• Interact with clients to resolve issues and provide status updates.
• Lead teams across geographies.
• Actively participate in providing automation training within the company.

Qualifications:

• BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc degree.
• 5-10 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and domains.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, or Protractor.

Ideally, you will also have:

• Hands-on experience developing frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, and Rest Assured.
• Experience creating QA strategies and automation approaches from scratch, articulating value and ROI of automation to clients.
• Experience conducting proof-of-concepts and tool selection.
• Experience as an individual contributor, interfacing with clients and addressing their business needs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate concisely and clearly.
• Readiness to work as an individual contributor and/or Team Leader.
