Test SW Engineer

Nokia is actively seeking a skilled Test Software Engineer to become a vital part of their New Product & Technologies Test Engineering Solution team in Coppell, Texas. This pivotal role focuses on the development of robust JTAG/Boundary Scan test solutions for next-generation products. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to significantly enhance manufacturing capabilities and ensure product quality. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing JTAG/Boundary Scan Production Software solutions for testing RF Network module level products intended for manufacturing facilities. This involves intricate interaction with test fixtures, specialized test equipment, and test application software. The position also entails developing and supporting module-level test fixture hardware, Boundary Scan application software, and providing critical Design for Test (DFT) feedback during the product design phase. This may extend to evaluating and recommending new design implementation requirements. The scope of activities covers the entire product lifecycle, from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to the final Manufacturing/Production site. Furthermore, the role involves monitoring and analyzing test performance to identify and resolve tester design issues encountered during prototype builds, along with creating and maintaining essential tester documentation and comprehensive test plans in preparation for volume production.
