Test Lead

IDR, Inc. is actively seeking a highly skilled Test Lead for a remote opportunity with one of our esteemed clients. This pivotal role demands leadership in testing enterprise software solutions, with a primary focus on System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within a regulated industry environment. The successful candidate will drive the quality assurance process from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead SIT/UAT efforts for enterprise software projects, ensuring delivered solutions rigorously align with documented business and technical requirements.
• Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive test cases based on specifications provided by Business Analysts and project stakeholders.
• Conduct and facilitate daily testing meetings, coordinate all testing activities, and effectively manage testing resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Meticulously track defects, monitor test execution progress, and analyze key testing metrics using industry-standard tools like Jira.
• Maintain and manage the project's dedicated testing workspace within Jira, including the creation and upkeep of dashboards and reporting for project leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 10 to 20 years of progressive experience in software testing, QA leadership, or test management within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated success in leading both System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives.
• A strong track record in writing and executing detailed manual test cases derived from documented business and system requirements.
• Expert proficiency with testing and project tracking tools, particularly Jira, encompassing workspace setup, defect tracking, and reporting functionalities.
• Substantial experience operating within structured, waterfall-based project management environments.
