Test Engineer

Worldline is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join their team in Mumbai, India. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and security of payment processing applications. You will be involved in various testing phases to maintain high standards of quality and performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of payment processing applications.
• Collaborate with development teams, understanding system architecture and contributing during the software development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Automate test cases using Selenium and other frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Conduct testing on various payment schemes, including Visa, MasterCard, and Rupay, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Validate API functionalities using Postman and ensure the security of payment transactions.
• Participate in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes for timely releases.
• Provide support for certifications and audits related to payment schemes.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in automation testing.
• Detailed knowledge of automation testing using Selenium, JavaScript, and JMeter.
• Familiarity with BDD, Cucumber, TestNG, Maven Framework Creation, CI/CD frameworks, and GitLab.
• Knowledge of Microservice testing, Web Application Testing, and API Testing using Postman.
• Proficiency in SQL Queries.
• Experience with VISA, MasterCard, and Rupay scheme simulators for prepaid/credit/debit card Issuance/Acquiring.
• Understanding of ONUS/OFFUS Transactions & ISO message specification.
• Experience in testing Windows Software Applications and Database applications using .Net, Cobol, VB, C#, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Excellent working knowledge of Unix; exposure to Flat file structure on AIX is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Manual Testing; exposure to automation testing is an additional advantage.
• Knowledge of JSON format, Operating system basics, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
