We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager for New Installation to oversee the successful deployment of new products and spearhead sales initiatives within a designated territory. This role is crucial for ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and achieving key business objectives in the Charlotte, NC area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to meet the territory's financial and non-financial goals, supporting new installation (NI) sales strategies and execution.
  • Contribute to regional sales budget recommendations aligning with national targets and empower NI sales representatives to identify opportunities and exceed sales quotas.
  • Accurately forecast and meticulously track performance against financial objectives.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of competitive data and integrate insights into the territory's NI sales strategy.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for NI sales initiatives, policies, and programs within the territory, in close collaboration with the NI Sales Business Line.
  • Effectively manage net working capital through strategic asset management and precise billing procedures.
  • Review and approve pricing escalations exceeding a specified threshold.
  • Design and execute a sustainable customer excellence plan to foster high-quality service and deepen customer loyalty.
  • Build and nurture robust commercial relationships with key clients, general contractors, and influential industry consultants through direct engagement and team assignments.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of NI-focused Sales Representatives by setting clear objectives, managing performance, and fostering skill development to achieve critical metrics and financial targets.
  • Oversee the hiring and onboarding process for all new NI sales representatives.
  • Foster a participative management environment through effective leadership practices, promoting high team morale and embodying Schindler's cultural values and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and the Territory NI Operations Manager to review labor estimates for all NI bids.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of all required NI sales meetings, leading sessions as needed.
  • Manage legal aspects of procedures, including collection efforts and contractual disputes.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated customer issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of product applications, NI techniques and procedures.
  • Proficiency in financial statement analysis and legal awareness of contract terms and conditions.
  • 5-7 years of experience in relevant roles within the Elevator industry, another service-oriented business, or within Schindler.
  • Proven experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
