Territory Manager, Franchisee Acquisition - Kolkata
Motilal Oswal Financial Services (MOFSL) is seeking a driven Territory Manager to spearhead franchisee acquisition in Kolkata. This role is crucial for expanding our network and driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Sourcing: Proactively identify and source potential franchisee candidates through various channels including industry events, targeted data mining, professional referrals, networking initiatives, and direct cold outreach.
- Prospect Qualification: Conduct thorough assessments of potential franchisees to evaluate their financial capability, business credibility, operational capacity, and commitment to the franchise model.
- Sales & Negotiation: Effectively present MOFSL's franchise model, articulate the unique value proposition, and skillfully negotiate terms to close acquisition deals, ensuring the achievement of predefined acquisition and revenue targets.
- Onboarding & Training: Oversee the entire onboarding process for new franchisees, managing all necessary documentation, facilitating initial training programs, and providing ongoing support to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
- Strategy & Reporting: Develop and implement effective growth strategies for the assigned territory, gather and report crucial market feedback, monitor competitor activities, and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
- Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Compliance, to ensure seamless franchise development and support.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field is required. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, business-to-business (B2B) environments, or franchise development, ideally within the financial services industry.
- Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, strategic planning capabilities, strong data analysis acumen, and excellent presentation skills.
- Attributes: Must possess a high degree of self-discipline, ambition, a strong goal-orientation, and a willingness to travel as required for business development.
