Teller

Prosperity Bank is actively seeking a dedicated and customer-focused part-time Teller to join our team in Cedar Hill, Texas. This role is integral to our daily operations, involving the precise processing of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. You will be the primary point of contact for many of our clients, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining professional relationships, and actively promoting Prosperity Bank's array of financial products and services. Adherence to established banking procedures, compliance requirements, and maintaining the confidentiality of customer information are paramount. Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately execute all Teller functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks.
• Examine negotiable instruments for proper endorsements and validity.
• Process account transfers and assist customers with various financial transactions such as traveler's checks, official checks, and money orders.
• Provide credit card cash advances and manage daily cash balancing with prompt discrepancy resolution.
• Identify customer needs and proactively offer relevant bank products and services to enhance customer relationships and strengthen their financial portfolio.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, courtesy, and integrity in all customer interactions.
• Operate the online teller terminal and other business equipment accurately.
• Ensure the privacy and security of all customer information.
• Uphold the bank's reputation for quality service and operational excellence.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and management, providing assistance and support as needed.
• Participate in required meetings and training sessions, which may occur on weekdays, evenings, or Saturdays.
• Perform night drop functions and related clerical duties as assigned.
• Ensure work areas are clean, secure, and well-maintained.
• Contribute to cross-selling efforts by identifying opportunities to present additional bank products and services.
