The Amazon Connect Customer Telecom Engineering team in Hyderabad / Secunderabad is responsible for provisioning and maintaining connectivity to global telecom carriers, managing backend infrastructure, troubleshooting telephony issues, and routing calls via the SBC (Session Border Controller).

We are seeking Systems Engineers who are experts in SIP/VoIP to join our team. Amazon Connect Customer supports thousands of concurrent customer calls and tens of thousands of agents using an internally developed SIP based Call Center Platform.

Our technology solves common problems in novel ways unique to the industry. We look for engineers to help expand infrastructure to new global regions, support existing implementations, and innovate telecom network operations through tooling to improve productivity.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of Linux systems administration and/or development experience.
• 1+ years of work in at least two languages: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Bash/Shell.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Experience working in a 24/7 production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems administration, DevOps, security, or network administration experience.
• 1+ years building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments.
• Knowledge of configuration management systems like Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
• Experience in SRE, system engineering, or troubleshooting via network capture tools.
