Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) as a Senior Full Stack Java Application Support engineer in Noida, India. This role is part of our Technical Engineering team, focusing on CloudOps with expertise in Java, Node.js, and React.js. You will contribute to building and deploying cloud-based solutions, working within a dynamic global delivery network.

As a Senior Full Stack Java Application Support engineer, you will participate in requirements analysis, design software architecture, write and test scalable Java code, and deploy applications. You will also be responsible for revising, updating, and debugging code to improve existing software and developing comprehensive documentation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Your role will involve troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with internal teams and customers, and ensuring timely resolution of requests. Experience with ITIL and ITSM processes, along with managing cross-functional teams and driving technical discussions, is essential. This position requires a willingness to work in night shifts and provide on-call support.

Key responsibilities include end-to-end application development and enhancement, from requirement gathering and specification creation to testing, UAT support, defect fixing, and production release. You will collaborate closely with customers and teams to ensure issues and requests are addressed promptly.

Skills and attributes for success include a minimum of 3 years of experience building and deploying cloud-based solutions, with general working knowledge of Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in Java (including Java 8), Node.js, and React.js is required, along with proven experience as a Java Developer or Full Stack Application Developer. Solid experience in building RESTful APIs, good SQL skills, and familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC) are necessary. You should also have experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of software development best practices and experience working in shifts and on-call support are also important.

To qualify, you must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Java 8, React JS, RESTful Webservices, and Node JS. An education in Information Technology or equivalent working experience is also required.
