EY is seeking a Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Support Engineer with 3-6 years of experience in Kolkata, India. This role involves developing, implementing, and supporting solutions within the Guidewire Policy Centre module, as well as handling production issues and maintenance. You will collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and developers to ensure efficient and reliable policy administration systems that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include Guidewire PolicyCenter support and maintenance, designing, building, supporting, and fixing defects. You will perform root cause analysis, implement enhancements, and manage configurations and integrations for the Guidewire product suite. The role requires flexibility for rotational shifts (India and US shifts) and on-call support, as well as proactive monitoring.

Ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of the Guidewire Policy Center framework, architecture, and components, with experience in version 9.0 or higher, including relevant certifications. Proficiency in Java/J2EE, web services, API integration, and production support activities (queue management, plug-in issues, batch file generation) is essential. Experience with tools such as Service-now, JIRA, soap-ui, Eclipse IDE, SVN, and Jenkins is required. Familiarity with service management, change management, SLAs, and estimator tools is also beneficial. You should have experience working in shifts and on-call support, with a solid understanding of incident and problem management, and the SDLC life cycle including release planning.

Technical skills include Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT, strong SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, Enterprise Messaging Systems, and experience with Tomcat and/or WebSphere/WebLogic.
