Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) as a Senior Technical Engineer specializing in Guidewire Claim Center Support and CloudOps in Kolkata, India. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our Guidewire Claim Center platform, requiring 6-8 years of experience.

Your responsibilities will include providing support and maintenance for Guidewire Claim Center, managing configurations and integrations, and designing/modifying the Guidewire product suite. You will be expected to work in rotational shifts (India and UK) and participate in on-call support.

We are looking for individuals with a deep understanding of the Guidewire framework, architecture, and components, specifically Guidewire Claim Center version 9.0+. Proficiency in Gosu scripting, UI, and Data Models is essential. You should also possess strong skills in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, enterprise messaging systems, and application servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic.

Experience in enterprise system integration, particularly within the insurance domain (preferably Property & Casualty), is highly valued. Familiarity with software development best practices, service management tools (e.g., Service-now, JIRA), incident and problem management, and client-facing experience are key attributes. Experience with tools like soap-ui, eclipse IDE, SVN, and Jenkins is also beneficial.

While not mandatory, Guidewire CC and ITIL certifications are considered a plus.
