EY is seeking a Senior Guidewire Policy Center Support Engineer with 6-8 years of experience to join our CloudOps AMS team in Kolkata, India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting solutions within the Guidewire Policy Center module, including resolving production issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing enhancements. You will collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to ensure efficient and reliable policy administration systems.

Key responsibilities include Guidewire Policy Center support and maintenance, designing and building solutions, defect fixes, enhancements, and code changes. You will be expected to manage Guidewire PC configuration and integration, and implement changes to the Guidewire product suite. Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (India Shift, US Shift) and participate in on-call support is required. Proactive monitoring and incident/problem management are also key aspects of this role.

Successful candidates will possess a deep understanding of the Guidewire framework Policy Center, including its architecture and components. Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter version 9.0+ and relevant technical/functional/cloud certifications are essential. Proficiency in Java/J2EE, web services, API integration, and production support activities is required. Familiarity with tools such as Service-now, JIRA, soap-ui, eclipse IDE, SVN, and Jenkins is beneficial. Experience with service management, change management, SLAs, and SDLC lifecycle, including release planning, is also expected. Strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, enterprise messaging systems, and application servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic is crucial.
