EY is seeking a Senior Data Visualization Engineer for our TechOps team in Gurgaon, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the ongoing effectiveness, accuracy, and alignment of Power BI reports with business objectives. As a vital member of the Analytics Production Support team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate refresh of Power BI reports. The ability to effectively manage major incidents, including participation in Major Incident Management (MIM) bridges, and a willingness to work within a 24x7x365 support model are essential.

Your technical acumen will be crucial in empowering business partners and leaders with data-driven insights for informed decision-making and operational enhancement. You will also mentor mid-level and junior team members, resolve complex Power BI DAX issues, and maintain high standards of data quality and integrity. Your support is fundamental to sustaining the organization's data-centric approach and its adaptability to evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing ongoing support for Power BI dashboards, assisting business stakeholders with troubleshooting and optimizing visualizations.
• Ensuring data accuracy in all production workspace reports for user consumption.
• Managing and prioritizing support tickets effectively, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues within Service Level Agreement (SLA) parameters.
• Identifying recurring issues and analyzing trends to improve system reliability and reduce repeat incidents.
• Identifying and executing automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with downstream and upstream users to resolve issues and ensure continuous performance of visualizations and reports.
• Managing major incidents with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conducting root cause analysis for major incidents and implementing corrective actions.
• Escalating complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate teams.
• Demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior in all support interactions, handling sensitive information responsibly.
• Mentoring junior team members and providing structured training plans for skill enhancement.

Skills and Attributes:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Visualization Support role, with a focus on maintaining and supporting data visualizations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI is required.
• Experience working in a Production Support environment and readiness to work in a 24x7 Support model.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience using: Data Engineering Programming Languages (SQL, Power Query, M, DAX), Relational SQL/ NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of data tools like Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Tidal, or Databricks is beneficial.
• Proactive learner with a desire to cross-skill and advance.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with multi-functional teams and documenting support processes.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate is a plus.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles for effective service management.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate is a plus.
• Proficiency in Data Engineering Programming Languages (SQL, Power Query, M, DAX).
• Experience with Relational SQL databases.
• Experience with Databricks/ETL processes.
