Full Job Description
KKR's Gurugram office is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join its Investment Systems team. This role is instrumental in building and operating systems that support KKR's entire investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing to monetization. You will be responsible for designing and delivering complex features for platforms that connect data, people, and insights across various asset classes, enabling smarter and faster investment decisions at scale. The team's mission is to transform KKR's investment capabilities by engineering shared, data-driven platforms that replace fragmented legacy tools with integrated solutions.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be a trusted, independent contributor responsible for the design and delivery of complex features and components, ensuring quality, reliability, and correctness. You will operate with minimal supervision, contribute to design decisions, and mentor junior engineers. Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end delivery of features, designing solutions with maintainability and clear interfaces, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring robust testing and deployment readiness, and contributing to code and design reviews.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, with 6-12 years of experience in building and operating production software systems. Strong technical design skills, a disciplined problem-solving approach, and the ability to articulate design decisions are essential. A proven ownership mindset and an interest in how technology drives investment decision-making are highly valued. The tech stack includes AWS (EKS, RDS, Aurora), Python (FastAPI), React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kestra, PySpark, and AI-assisted development tools.
