L'Unique Assurances générales is seeking a detail-oriented Technicien en administration in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. This full-time, onsite position is responsible for the thorough analysis, processing, preparation, and dispatch of contract surety requests and related documentation within the construction and surety sectors. The role requires meticulous validation of information, ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, and efficiently managing the submission process for surety bonds.

Key responsibilities include: validating the conformity of information on surety bond applications by conducting research on beneficiary websites; promptly informing underwriters and brokers of identified anomalies; acting as a reference for construction market terminology to ensure accurate bond labeling; accurately entering surety bond requests into the company's IT system to provide underwriters with precise commitment details; preparing surety bonds and endorsements for brokers according to beneficiary requirements; dispatching prepared surety bonds to non-issuing and signatory brokers within agreed-upon deadlines; calculating and managing contract surety premiums, including issuing premium notices and adjustments for all brokers in our sector; auditing surety bond applications issued by brokers, swiftly addressing and rectifying any document anomalies, and guiding brokers to ensure compliance with beneficiary requirements; maintaining up-to-date contractor commitment records by tracking submission results; producing and forwarding monthly contractor file update requests, receiving update documents, notating journal entries, and notifying underwriters of received documents for financial analysis; and monitoring alerts on contractors in difficulty, informing the contract and commercial underwriting teams if these alerts pertain to our clients.
