Technical Support Engineer

Cavitak, a value-driven technology distribution company, is seeking a proactive Technical Support Engineer with a focus on security systems. This role is ideal for an individual with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent technical acumen, and a positive demeanor, ready to support enterprise-level electronic security solutions. Responsibilities include system configuration, close collaboration with OEMs and clients, and internal knowledge dissemination. The ideal candidate will be adept at testing, configuring, and troubleshooting electronic security systems, with practical experience in Access Control & Time Attendance (e.g., Matrix, Suprema, Spectra, Spine HRMS) and Video Surveillance on enterprise servers (e.g., Axis, Bosch, Palco). Proficiency with VMS platforms such as Ecostem, Milestone, Genetec, or Honeywell, along with working knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, VMS servers, and basic SQL (Matrix/Suprema preferred), is essential. A solid understanding of system integration and networking fundamentals is also required. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic security systems or technical support. OEM certifications (Suprema, Bosch, VMS platforms) and exposure to Servers, VMs, or networking are advantageous. A Diploma or BE in Electronics or a related field is preferred, though relevant certifications or hands-on experience can be considered. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for OEM and client coordination. The role demands a problem-solving mindset, a high aptitude for learning, the ability to manage pressure and multiple tasks, and an ownership-driven approach with timely responses. The engineer will also be responsible for training and mentoring internal teams. This is a permanent position based in Ahmedabad, India.
