Full Job Description
Movate is seeking a motivated Technical Support Engineer (L1) to join their team in Chennai, India. This permanent, full-time role requires candidates with excellent English communication skills and a strong understanding of networking concepts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support and a graduate degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field. Experience with IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and OSI layers, along with strong troubleshooting abilities, is essential. Responsibilities include handling customer calls, coordinating with international clients for technical issue resolution, and aiming for first-contact resolution.
This position involves working in a 24/7 environment with US shifts (5:30 PM to 9:30 AM IST). A salary range of 3 LPA to 5 LPA is offered, based on experience. The role is based at Ambit IT Park, Ambattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with a 2-way cab facility provided within a 30km radius. Immediate joiners are preferred.
