Technical Support and DevOps Engineer - Pune, India

Client Support & Technical Assistance
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert technical support via phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues and system-related inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Escalate intricate technical challenges to development or infrastructure teams as needed.
- Offer training and guidance to clients on leveraging the company's products and services.
- Support clients with system integrations, deployments, and custom configurations tailored to their specific needs.
- Analyze client data and system performance to pinpoint areas for enhancement and propose optimal solutions.
DevOps & Infrastructure Management
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Develop, manage, and refine Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for streamlined software delivery.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics through tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and production environments.
- Enforce robust security policies and best practices across all infrastructure and applications.
- Automate recurring operational tasks to boost efficiency and system reliability.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless software releases.
- Participate actively in incident management and root cause analysis to mitigate recurring problems.
- Contribute to the enhancement of system reliability, scalability, and overall performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements and emerging technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BSc/BTech) in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in DevOps, technical support, or a comparable engineering role.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or DigitalOcean).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines and utilizing version control systems, particularly Git.
- Working knowledge of scripting and automation languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with web frameworks like Django is a plus.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Availability to work in a rotational shift environment as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Exposure to microservices architecture leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with web servers and proxies including Nginx, HAProxy, or Traefik.
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms like OAuth2 or OpenID Connect.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Exposure to serverless computing architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
