Technical Specialist - App Development

BirlaSoft is seeking a Senior Front-end Developer with a specialization in React JS to join their team in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role is responsible for independently developing a web-based application from requirements and wireframe designs.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 5 years of React Development experience with strong proficiency in front-end frameworks like React JS.
• Translate requirements and wireframes into low-level and high-level application system designs, including diagrams for application flow, ports, protocols, communication strategies, and microservices identification.
• Define and enforce coding best practices, secure coding standards, and other team guidelines.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to identify anomalies.
• Extensive use of JavaScript, React JS, Node JS, Bootstrap, jQuery/AJAX, JSON, HTML4/5, and CSS2/3 for building interactive User Interfaces (UI).
• Assist the team in working with Lifecycle Methods, State, Props, and Events to create interactive and stateful React Components, and implement routing using react-router.
• Define and implement communication strategies between React Components, including class-based and function-based components.
• Participate in the design and development of Restful APIs and services for data layer interaction.
• Identify and implement reusable React components and functions for future use.
• Extensive experience in developing Restful web services using Express and NodeJS.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, including experience with Mongoose, writing aggregation commands, index creation, and optimal schema design for document-based databases.
• Write Lambda functions, schedule and monitor AWS batch jobs, and monitor AWS CloudWatch, escalating issues as needed.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS pipelines, defining application deployment strategies and best practices within an AWS environment.
• Minimum of 4+ years of strong UI development experience using React JS, with robust JavaScript (OOJS) skills.
• Experience in developing web-based UIs and Single Page Applications (SPAs).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, SCSS, SASS, Responsive Web Design (RWD), JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Detox, Cypress, etc.
• Familiarity with popular React.js workflows (e.g., Flux, Redux, Mobx).
• Responsible for developing responsive front-end UI designs in React, integrating with backend Spring Boot services.
• Experience working with web services (REST APIs, SOAP, APIs).
• Maintain a clean coding style with clear separation of UI and functionality.
• Collaborate effectively with back-end developers for user-facing element integration.
• Perform UI tests to optimize application performance.
• Familiarity with Micro frontend architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
