Technical Sales Engineer - Industrial Computing & Networking

Lubi Electronics is searching for a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer with expertise in Industrial Computing & Networking solutions. This pivotal role serves as the crucial link between our esteemed clientele and our technical divisions. The primary focus is on promoting and selling our cutting-edge industrial computing and networking products, while also delivering exceptional pre-sales and project support. We are committed to fostering innovation and excellence in the industrial automation sector from our base in Noida, India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales Technical Support: Engage with customers to thoroughly understand their unique requirements. Conduct compelling product demonstrations, informative presentations, and insightful technical workshops, often in collaboration with our technical specialists. Provide expert recommendations for suitable industrial computing and networking solutions tailored to specific customer use cases. Contribute to the development of robust network architecture designs, accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQ), and comprehensive solution documentation.
  • Sales & Business Development: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with new clients across the designated sales region. Champion the promotion of our extensive range of industrial networking products, including Ethernet switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi solutions, and specialized industrial applications. Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to consistently meet and exceed sales targets. Drive lead generation through strategic engagement with partners, system integrators, and existing channel networks.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with both the technical and procurement departments of our clients. Diligently follow up on proposals, adeptly address any concerns or objections, and successfully close sales agreements. Ensure sustained customer satisfaction through proactive post-sales engagement and support.
  • Proposal, Tender & Documentation Support: Prepare meticulously crafted techno-commercial proposals. Develop insightful comparisons of competitor products and create clear, detailed network diagrams. Ensure strict adherence to all tender specifications for government and enterprise bids. Liaise effectively with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and contractors to optimize product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Project Coordination & Support: Collaborate seamlessly with our delivery and technical teams to ensure efficient and successful solution implementation. Provide essential support during the deployment and commissioning phases as required, ensuring a smooth transition for the client.
  • Market & Technology Awareness: Maintain a keen awareness of emerging technologies and evolving industry trends. Continuously monitor competitor solutions, pricing strategies, and market activities to maintain our competitive edge.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: A B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics, IT, or Computer Science is required. An MBA or a relevant sales certification would be a significant advantage.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in sales engineering is essential, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in industrial automation, networking, or power supply products. Experience in a sales-focused role is mandatory, ideally with hands-on experience using CRM tools and generating sales reports.

  • Fundamental understanding of networking and industrial computing principles.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools and generating sales reports.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven capability in delivering engaging product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Strong aptitude for negotiation, relationship-building, and effective customer handling.
  • Experience working with EPC contractors and system integrators.
