Technical Project Manager

About the Role

Our client, a top-tier insurance carrier based in Lansing, MI, is seeking a motivated and organized Project Lead. This individual will oversee day-to-day operational and tactical execution of company projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities and workflows involving multiple team members and departments.
• Develop, maintain, and execute project plans to meet evolving business needs, timelines, and requirements in the Lansing area.
• Identify necessary project resources and collaborate with leadership to delegate responsibilities and assign tasks.
• Prepare, review, and organize project documentation and deliverables before distributing materials to stakeholders.
• Apply project management methodologies, processes, and best practices to drive successful project execution.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify potential roadblocks, and recommend strategies to mitigate project risks.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date project documentation and records.
• Monitor project progress to ensure deliverables align with stakeholder expectations and established objectives.
• Facilitate team meetings, encourage collaboration, and help resolve project-related challenges.

Skill Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across different teams, backgrounds, and experience levels.
Proven track record of successfully managing individual projects and delivering high-quality solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, including preparing routine reports and project correspondence.
Experience facilitating team meetings, navigating project conflicts, and driving productive discussions.
Ability to understand complex project concepts, evaluate challenges, and develop practical solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate team members, encourage accountability, and inspire teams to achieve shared goals.
