Full Job Description
Convera is seeking a Technical Program Manager with Agile Coach experience to join our team in Pune, India, offering a work-from-home arrangement. This role is ideal for a driven individual passionate about fostering Agile mindsets and practices within teams. Working under the guidance of a senior Agile Coach, you will observe team dynamics, identify areas for improvement, and coach teams towards enhanced collaboration, self-organization, and predictable value delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching & Team Support: Guide teams in adopting Agile values, principles, and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. Observe team interactions to identify impediments and patterns, fostering self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and workshops to encourage reflection and learning. Assist teams in navigating change and adopting new practices.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Product Managers, Program Managers, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders to align team priorities with organizational objectives. Contribute to cross-team discussions to identify dependencies and shared improvement opportunities. Build trusting relationships across teams and departments to promote transparency and shared accountability. Communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Influence & Facilitation: Employ coaching techniques and guided conversations to help teams uncover insights and solve problems. Encourage experimentation and incremental improvement. Influence without authority by building credibility, trust, and psychological safety.
- Metrics & Tools: Utilize tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, and Slack/Teams to enhance transparency and team alignment. Interpret Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, cycle time) to guide teams in performance analysis and improvement. Collaborate with technical stakeholders to understand processes, blockers, and dependencies.
- Organizational & Industry Awareness: Connect Agile practices to broader organizational goals, customer needs, and industry context. Stay abreast of emerging Agile trends and best practices. Identify and collaborate on addressing systemic impediments.
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience, with exposure to Agile environments.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, practices, and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- A demonstrated passion for Agile coaching and continuous improvement.
