Full Job Description
As a Technical Manager based in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in elevating our technical expertise and support for companion animal health.
Role Summary
- Deliver impactful technical training on companion animal health to local teams and field marketing.
- Lead targeted seminars for field veterinarians to enhance their clinical knowledge.
- Address customer issues effectively, conduct regular field visits, and provide expert product support.
- Foster collaborations with veterinary colleges on technical initiatives and business development.
- Review and approve all technical marketing materials, working closely with the Marketing department.
- Organize and lead comprehensive technical seminars for field-based professionals.
- Manage customer complaints efficiently, coordinating with Global/Regional teams to provide timely support on product concerns.
- Execute field trials in conjunction with Global/Regional teams, adhering to set protocols, capturing observations, and submitting detailed reports.
- Provide overarching coordination and support to ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.) required; Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years in field operations, demonstrating experience in managing diverse on-ground situations and delivering effective technical solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in companion animal disease diagnosis, vaccination, and treatment; expertise in product troubleshooting; strong abilities in seminar and training delivery.
- Role-Specific Capabilities: Ability to provide technical support and training to internal teams; adeptness in handling customer complaints and queries; support for business development activities.
- Behavioral Competencies: Possess strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, customer-focus, integrity, trust, and goal-orientation skills.
