Technical Manager

Business Context

You will operate within a dynamic multi-agent warehouse environment that includes robots, human operators, and material handling equipment. Key objectives are to ensure guaranteed throughput, predict ETAs accurately, and achieve optimal resource utilization. Performance bottlenecks are typically a result of suboptimal decision algorithms, not infrastructure limitations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms for multi-agent task allocation and job scheduling.
• Optimize resource allocation and maximize throughput.
• Develop intelligent task assignment and coordination logic.
• Model warehouse operations mathematically, defining clear objectives and constraints.
• Address challenges in ETA prediction under uncertainty, congestion control, and path planning.
• Build heuristic or approximate solutions for NP-hard optimization problems.

Requirements

• Proven competitive programming experience.
• Expertise in algorithms.
• Exposure to operations research principles.
• Experience with optimization and scheduling systems.
• Knowledge of robotics algorithms.
• Expertise in supply chain optimization and simulation systems.
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning, planning systems, and graph theory.

• Ability to translate real-world problems into robust mathematical models.
• Proficiency in defining objective functions and constraints.
• Application of optimization techniques and graph theory, with a talent for designing effective heuristics.
• Skill in converting warehouse operational issues into algorithmic problems and handling ambiguity through structured problem-solving.
