Technical Lead / Senior Full Stack Developer - Global Digital Health Startup in Chennai

Benovymed Healthcare Private Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Lead or Senior Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic team in Chennai. This is a unique opportunity to be a key player in building a groundbreaking digital health platform from the ground up.

Role & Responsibilities

• Take on a single-handed, hands-on multi-hat role in full-stack development, encompassing backend, database, and frontend.
• Spearhead end-to-end backend development, DBMS, and B2B & B2B2C SaaS cloud platform maintenance.
• Develop highly scalable digital health or e-commerce platforms from scratch, managing server-side and client-side aspects.
• Oversee projects from conception to final product, requiring strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Design intuitive user interactions for web portals and mobile applications.
• Develop robust AWS cloud servers and databases to power web portals and mobile app functionality.
• Write efficient code for mobile platforms, ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensure the responsiveness and seamless performance of applications.
• Collaborate effectively with graphic designers on web design features.
• Design and develop robust APIs to support platform functionality.
• Balance technical requirements with user needs to deliver exceptional products.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in web applications and programming languages.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies using modern tools.
• DevOps engineering skillsets are considered a strong advantage.

Testing Tools

Experience with tools such as Appium, Selenium, Robotium, Mockito, and Espresso is beneficial.

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Information Technology (IT) from a reputable technology institute.

Experience

• 2 to 8 years of experience as a Full-stack Developer in web and mobile application software product engineering post-education.
• Demonstrated experience working independently, as a team member, and as a leader in multi-hat roles.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer and Database specialist, with QA testing experience on web and mobile apps within an early-stage startup environment.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Hands-on full-stack development experience, ideally within an early-stage digital health startup or an e-commerce marketplace tech startup.
• Experience building tech architecture, frontend development, coding, and tech product development from scratch for at least 6-50 mobile apps (multifunctionality) with significant download numbers (10,000 to 500,000 downloads).

Required Skillsets

Frontend

• Proficiency with fundamental frontend languages: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.

Backend & Database

• Experience with Django, Dynamo DB, LAMP, and MEAN stack.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .Net, and Tensor flow.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• NoSQL DB and MongoDB skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

Cloud & Mobile Development

• Experience with AWS services including AWS S3, EC2, and Amazon Device Farm.
• Proficiency in Android, Kotlin, React, React-native, Flutter, Dart, iOS, Swift, and Google Firebase.

A track record of working in a single-handed, multi-hat role in software product development engineering within a startup (preferably early-stage digital health, e-commerce, or any other industry) is highly valued.
