Technical Data Analyst - Tableau, Python, Data Lineage in Mumbai

Citi is seeking a skilled Technical Data Analyst for their Mumbai office. This role requires strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others, including colleagues and occasional external customers. You will provide expert advice and counsel related to the technology and operations of the business, impacting the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Developing essential project artifacts such as Business Requirements Documentation (BRD's) and Functional Requirements Documentation (FRD's).
• Creating test plans and scenario documents for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Managing individual project responsibilities, including milestone setting, task management, coordination, and execution within timelines and to quality expectations.
• Providing implementation and post-implementation project support.
• Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing, and development teams.
• Identifying and managing key project risks, escalating as necessary.
• Operating with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy.
• Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 8+ years of experience required.
• Proven experience with Tableau, Python, and Data Lineage is mandatory.
• Must be extremely organized, motivated, and a self-starter.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must thrive under pressure, be enthusiastic, hard-working, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Desire to improve processes.
• Advanced working knowledge in the Equities IT space and exposure to Cash Prime Brokerage flows.
• A strong track record as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services/Investment Banking industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions.
• Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts, requirements, and related product/functional knowledge.
• Experience working with Agile Methodologies and Tools.
• Strong team player with excellent relationship management skills.
• Ability to learn and understand technical implications of system design.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of project components.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
