Full Job Description
As a Technical Data Analyst at Addepar, you will be instrumental in executing data migration, conversion, and validation projects for our clients using our established tools and processes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of financial portfolio data, foundational Python programming skills, excellent communication abilities, and a track record of delivering high-quality results within project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Convert, migrate, and validate data from diverse sources using existing tooling, adhering to defined processes and workflows.
- Ensure timely completion of data projects while maintaining high quality standards and meeting project deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams, providing regular status updates and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Execute Python ETL scripts and provide necessary modifications, fixes, or debugging.
- Escalate critical issues to project team members and senior leadership promptly.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple simultaneous projects efficiently, ensuring each is completed successfully.
- Adhere to standard project management processes.
- Identify and implement improvements in processes, workflows, and tools to enhance efficiency and automation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technology and finance.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Domain expertise in wealth management, portfolio management, or investment management.
- Proficiency in Python programming and a solid understanding of ETL concepts.
- Experience in financial markets, financial products, and wealth/portfolio data.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, capable of explaining complex information clearly.
- A solution-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a drive for process efficiency.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, proactive approach, and collaborative spirit.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing needs, and perform with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to manage expectations and deliver regular updates to project teams.
Important Note: This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the Pune office. Working hours will be from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST (UK shift).
