Full Job Description

Zuora is seeking a Technical Consultant to join our India team in Chennai or Bangalore, requiring 3 days per week in the office. This role involves collaborating with Solution Architects and customers to translate requirements into optimal technical solutions and flows. As a Technical Consultant, you will leverage your technical and problem-solving skills to ensure customers successfully adopt and manage Zuora products. You will engage with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and executives of large enterprises, as well as cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. Success in this role depends on your technical expertise, strong communication, and ability to convert business needs into effective solutions.

What You’ll Achieve:

  • Collaborate with Zuora Product Engineers on customer use cases and feedback.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Zuora products and subscription business models.
  • Implement and understand data/object models and process flows.
  • Expand scope by engaging with diverse teams across regions.
  • Develop and customize Zuora's out-of-the-box features and functionalities.
  • Provide expert guidance on customer business needs, Zuora APIs, and integration best practices.
  • Document technical solutions, checklists, and runbooks for customer sign-off.
  • Guide and implement best practices to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Assist customers with UATs and production deployments.
  • Facilitate solution handover to the support team for ongoing customer assistance.
  • Work on workflows, HTML templates, Data Migration, Zuora CPQ, Zuora 360, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Provide ongoing functional and technical support to customers.
  • Learn from experienced consultants and gain valuable knowledge.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful:

  • 3-8 years of technical experience.
  • 3-5 years of consulting experience within a professional services organization.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Business is preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Salesforce APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, or similar.
  • Experience with object-oriented frameworks.
  • Ability to review API documentation, implement solutions using APIs, and troubleshoot API integrations.
  • Strong ability to understand requirements and implement them for a seamless customer experience.
  • Familiarity with the Zuora product.
  • Excellent communication skills at both business and technical levels, with a strong team-player attitude to deliver exceptional customer results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
