Note: We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in AWS cloud architecture, Node.js development, and Generative AI. While a good understanding of React and Next.js is beneficial, candidates solely focused on DevOps engineering are not the target for this role.

Role Overview

Basebiz Private Limited is seeking a Principal Engineer / Scalability Architect (AWS) to design and construct high-performance, enterprise-grade systems suitable for Fortune 500 organizations. This pivotal role demands profound expertise in AWS architecture, distributed systems design, and performance engineering to build robust platforms capable of managing substantial throughput and large concurrent workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design highly scalable, resilient, and distributed systems on AWS.
• Develop systems engineered to handle millions of users, high throughput, and significant concurrent workloads.
• Lead the strategic direction for system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization of enterprise platforms.
• Design and optimize microservices-based architectures utilizing Node.js and contemporary frameworks.
• Implement advanced caching strategies, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures to enhance system performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure optimal scalability, reliability, and system efficiency.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-driven solutions where applicable to enhance functionality and performance.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide critical technical leadership for architectural decisions.

Required Skills & Expertise

• A minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience with substantial architectural exposure.
• In-depth expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture principles.
• Proven experience in distributed systems design and performance engineering methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in designing highly scalable systems supporting large concurrent workloads.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture patterns and implementation.
• A strong understanding of caching strategies, including technologies like Redis and CDNs.
• Experience with asynchronous processing, event-driven architectures, and various messaging systems.
• Robust backend development proficiency in Node.js.
• Familiarity with React.js / Next.js based architectures is considered a strong asset.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
