Technical Architect

Siemens Digital Industries Software, a premier provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software, is seeking a Technical Architect for its Cloud Application Services (CApS) Process Engineering Team in Pune, India. CApS is a critical function within Siemens Digital Industries Software, dedicated to delivering world-class SaaS solutions globally. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge front-end solutions, robust test automation frameworks, and efficient DevOps pipelines. You will leverage your expertise in Teamcenter, Siemens Test Automation Framework (STAF), and modern cloud technologies like AWS Bedrock and React to build scalable, secure, and high-performing tools. Your contributions will directly enhance the usability, stability, and functionality of the Xcelerator Navigator platform, ensuring a superior user experience and optimized performance. This position also plays a key role in advancing CApS capabilities by driving automation, improving operational efficiency, and fostering continuous improvement, thereby supporting Siemens' vision for scalable cloud operations.

• Improved Usability: Develop intuitive front-end components and workflows to enhance navigation and simplify end-user interaction.
• Enhanced Stability: Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to guarantee consistent quality and minimize downtime.
• Greater Functionality: Integrate advanced AWS services, including Bedrock for AI-driven features, to expand platform capabilities.
• Operational Efficiency: Deliver tools that streamline provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance processes across CApS operations.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design: Define the technical architecture for front-end applications and automation frameworks, ensuring alignment with Siemens cloud standards and security policies.
• Front-End Development: Build responsive, scalable UI components using React, integrated with Xcelerator Navigator, and collaborate with UX teams to optimize user experience.
• Test Automation: Design and implement automated test suites using the Siemens Test Automation Framework and establish quality gates within CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• DevOps & Cloud Integration: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Teamcenter and associated services, and integrate AWS technologies, including Bedrock, for AI-driven automation and scalability.
• Performance & Reliability: Conduct performance tuning and stability improvements for cloud-hosted applications and implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Collaboration & Governance: Work closely with process engineering, product teams, and operations to ensure compliance and efficiency, and document architecture decisions while maintaining technical standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Core Technologies: Teamcenter, DevOps, Siemens Test Automation Framework (2 years).
• Front End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive design, front-end frameworks (2 years).
• Cloud Expertise: AWS (including Bedrock), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (2 years, with flexibility for newer technologies).
• Automation: Test automation frameworks, scripting (Python, JavaScript) (2-5 years).
• DevOps Practices: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), monitoring tools (2-5 years).
• Strong understanding of scalable SaaS architectures and secure cloud operations.
