Role Overview
HCA Healthcare is seeking a Technical Analyst to implement and support desktop equipment for their facilities. This role involves responding to end-user incidents, maintaining documentation, and providing superior customer support while strictly adhering to IT policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implements and supports facility and division desktop equipment, serving as the key technical resource for end-user incidents reported to the Service Desk.
- Communicates problems beyond scope in a timely manner to senior-level support personnel.
- Provides support to other IT personnel and participates in 24x7 on-call rotations based on staff schedules.
- Adheres to HCA IT policies, recommends process changes for desktop equipment/software maintenance, and expands on-site support using PC-based cabling expertise when needed.
- Installs and repairs terminals, PCs, printers, cabling, and related software per company standards.
- Analyzes inquiries, determines appropriate technical areas/vendors, coordinates with teams, logs problems, and performs MACs (Moves, Adds, Changes).
- Maintains incident documentation, escalates complex issues, aids/trains users, and conducts preventative maintenance.
- Collaborates effectively with customers, Service Desk, and Technical Services personnel while participating in continuing education to improve organizational performance.
