Full Job Description
Globant is seeking experienced Security Architects with a focus on DevSecOps and Cyber Security to join our growing team in India. This leadership role is ideal for individuals passionate about protecting digital assets and guiding organizations through complex security challenges.
We are looking for talented leaders to contribute to our Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Hyderabad teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of hands-on engagements and the development of deliverables from initiation to completion. Guide teams in analyzing requirements and collaborating to produce prioritized results aligned with client needs and risk profiles.
- Provide expert consultation on best practices for managing cyber security risks during digital transformation initiatives, especially as organizations adopt cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and modern architectural frameworks like containerization, microservices, and zero trust.
- Conduct comprehensive security reviews and maturity assessments across technology and business teams to identify and address cyber risks. Present clear, organized risk findings and actionable recommendations to clients.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer engineering teams, fostering strong relationships and promoting secure development practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience.
- At least 5 years of consulting experience in enterprise-level security environments.
- Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management, with a strong emphasis on security, performance, and reliability.
- Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and overall security principles.
- Good working knowledge of current IT risks and proven experience in implementing effective security solutions.
- Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management, or related technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with diverse personnel to effectively explain and enforce security measures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong business acumen and a commercial outlook.
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, operating system, and application vulnerabilities, as well as security architecture and controls.
- 10+ years of experience with cloud computing concepts and the application of security controls to cloud-based technologies.
- Ability to effectively interface with clients both verbally and in writing, managing expectations at executive and technical levels.
- Comprehensive understanding of the current cyber threat landscape.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, are a plus.
