Tech M and A Specialist

EY is seeking a Manager with up to 14 years of experience to lead the technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), with a specific focus on IT Separation related to Data Centre and Cloud Infrastructure. This role requires strong IT separation skills, including expertise in Data/DC Migration and System Integration, alongside a deep understanding of Data Centre and Cloud technologies. As a leader, you will manage M&A deals end-to-end from a technology perspective, ensuring the successful execution of IT separation initiatives while guiding your team with your technical acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete technology lifecycle of M&A deals, emphasizing IT separation projects for Data Centre and Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring seamless migration and integration.
• Collaborate with clients to define separation requirements and craft bespoke strategies that align with their business objectives throughout the M&A lifecycle.
• Act as a central point of expertise, leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of Data Centre and Cloud technologies to mentor and guide the separation team.
• Work closely with technical teams to achieve timely and budget-compliant execution of separation projects, prioritizing client satisfaction.
• Maintain awareness of the latest trends in IT separation, cloud technologies, and M&A best practices to foster continuous service improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Contribute technical insights to proposals and engage in client discussions to support business development, particularly for M&A transactions.

Qualifications:

• Up to 14 years of experience in IT, with a significant focus on technology aspects of M&A, IT separation, and Data Centre/Cloud Infrastructure management.
• Demonstrated success in managing IT separation projects within M&A contexts, with a proven track record of effective implementation and operation.
• Excellent communication and client engagement abilities, with a talent for translating complex technical requirements into actionable separation strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications in IT separation, cloud technologies, or M&A processes are highly advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in data migration and system integration tools to optimize separation processes during M&A.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and compliance standards pertinent to IT separation in M&A scenarios.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, complemented by effective teamwork skills.
