In this vital role, you will partner with the Store Manager to drive operational excellence, achieve sales and merchandising goals, and cultivate a safe, productive, and positive work environment. You'll be responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, recommending solutions, and adding value at every interaction. Additional duties include executing merchandising plans, opening/closing procedures, managing bank deposits, assessing store conditions, organizing workflow, recovering merchandise, participating in freight processing, managing price changes, resolving customer issues to ensure a superior shopping experience, adhering to loss prevention standards, communicating financial goals to the team, supervising cash handling, and providing guidance on policies. You'll also play a crucial role in the well-being of our poultry, including sanitizing holding tanks and caring for the birds. Operating forklifts and balers, completing necessary documentation, and obtaining required certifications are also part of this dynamic role. As needed, you may be asked to perform other duties.
