Team Lead – Backend Developer
Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – Backend Developer to guide our engineering team. In this role, you will lead the backend development team, make technical decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery of projects using Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and microservices. You will mentor developers, optimize performance with Redis, implement security (JWT/OAuth), and collaborate across Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver scalable SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and support a team of backend developers while assigning tasks based on skills and priorities.
- Design and maintain high-performance applications using Node.js/Express.js with robust REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
- Optimize MongoDB queries, implement caching strategies (Redis), and ensure security via JWT/OAuth/RBAC.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to manage the full development lifecycle from planning through deployment.
Requirements: 6–10+ years of experience with Node.js/TypeScript, strong knowledge of database design and Agile methodologies. Preferred: Experience in product/SaaS environments, distributed systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP.
