Our team comprises software developers with strong engineering and physics backgrounds, responsible for developing physics-based simulation and machine learning tools crucial for the next generation of Intel transistors.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Develop and train new machine learning models and enhance existing ones.
- Build new capabilities for current ML-based software solutions, debug issues, fix bugs, and write test cases.
- Collaborate with application engineers in the US and other regions to provide support and address feature requests.
- Transition projects from proof-of-concept to production-ready status.
- Maintain and develop software infrastructure, create software simulation flows, develop physical models, and analyze fundamental device and process issues in cutting-edge technology development.
- Work closely with experimental research, process, and design teams to define experiments and present recommendations for the scaling path of logic, memory, and analog devices in advanced-node products.

Qualifications
Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications to be considered. Preferred qualifications are additional assets.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering, or other related degrees with a software focus.
- A minimum of 1 year of research/thesis experience in building machine learning/deep learning models.
- A minimum of 1 year of software development experience through academic projects and/or research.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages. Familiarity with backend and front-end web application development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and software development.
- Solid understanding of statistics, linear algebra, and solid-state device physics.
- 2+ years of experience developing full-stack web applications using frameworks like Flask, Django, Angular, and React.
- 2+ years of experience in software development for high-performance computing, computational modeling, and numerical methods.
- Publications and/or open-source projects demonstrating expertise in machine learning, device physics, or process flow physics.
