TCAD Machine Learning Engineer at Intel in Bengaluru

Intel is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. We develop cutting-edge physics-based simulation and machine learning tools essential for the next generation of Intel transistors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and train new machine learning models, and enhance existing ones.
- Implement new functionalities within ML-based software solutions, debug issues, and create test cases.
- Collaborate with applications engineers globally to provide support and implement feature requests.
- Transition projects from proof-of-concept to production-ready status.
- Maintain and develop software infrastructure.
- Create software simulation flows, develop physical models, and analyze device and process issues in advanced technology development.
- Partner with experimental research, process, and design teams to define experiments and recommend strategies for scaling logic, memory, and analog devices in industry-leading products.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering, or a related field with a software focus.
- Minimum 1 year of research/thesis experience in building machine learning/deep learning models.
- Minimum 1 year of software development experience through academic projects and/or research.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with backend and front-end web application development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and software development.
- Strong background in statistics, linear algebra, and solid-state device physics.
- 2+ years of experience in developing full-stack web applications using frameworks such as Flask, Django, Angular, and React.
- 2+ years of experience in software development for high-performance computing, computational modeling, and numerical methods.
- Publications and/or open-source projects demonstrating expertise in machine learning, device physics, or process flow physics.
