Learning & Development Specialist (Product & Engineering)

The Business Operations and Learning & Development team, part of the Portfolio Strategy & Operations (PSO) organization, is instrumental in driving strategic vision, operational excellence, and continuous improvement at Sabre Corporation. We ensure alignment with critical objectives, enabling the organization to deliver best-in-class products.
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will be key in cultivating a culture of continuous growth. You will design, deliver, and measure innovative professional development programs that empower our teams to achieve their full potential while supporting vital business operations and change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Design & Delivery: Create and facilitate innovative leadership and professional development programs using diverse methodologies, including AI-powered tools and digital learning solutions.
- P&E Learning & Development: Support the People Empowerment Program (PEP) for Product & Engineering, including creating meeting/event invitations, surveys, newsletters, and managing data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Operational Support: Manage end-to-end program logistics for large-scale virtual/hybrid events, engagement metrics, and stakeholder communications.
- Platform Management: Oversee Learning Management System (LMS) administration (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Google Cloud Skills Boost, Workday) to ensure adoption and high-quality content delivery.
- Data-Driven Insights: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and leverage data analytics to measure program effectiveness, including dashboard reviews and data visualization, to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with HR and business leaders globally to align talent development with broader organizational goals.
- Vendor Management: Build and manage relationships with external partners to deliver customized, high-impact training solutions.
Experience & Qualifications
- Education: A 4-year degree or equivalent work experience; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of related experience in Learning & Development (L&D), Organizational Development, or Talent Management.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in LMS Management (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Learning) and digital adoption tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, effective workshop facilitation abilities, and the capacity to exercise judgment within defined procedures to solve moderate-to-complex problems.
- Global Mindset: Ability to support partners across various time zones in a remote/hybrid environment.
Additional Skills
- Experience in Program Management or Business Operations.
- Background in Technical Training (e.g., coding bootcamps, engineering certifications).
- Experience managing Change Management or process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products with advanced Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel expertise; photo and video-editing software is an asset
- Must possess highly effective verbal, written, and communication skills
- Minimum 5 years general business experience, Human Resources experience is a plus
- Strong HR and/or Customer Service experience
- Possess highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of leadership
- Solid hands-on experience working with HR tools and/or Workday
- Experience in training and facilitation
- Communications experience
- Strong personal communication skills; ability to interact with and influence people at all levels
