Talend Lead Data Integration Engineer - Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Mytech Global is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Integration Engineer to drive the design, development, and optimization of robust ETL pipelines using Talend. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain resilient ETL pipelines and processes.
• Execute complex data transformations, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Lead and mentor a talented team of Talend ETL engineers.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and testers to define and meet data requirements.
• Ensure high data quality, consistency, and traceability across all environments.
• Optimize data pipelines for peak performance and scalability.
• Document data models, flows, and transformation logic thoroughly.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and document data requirements and specify data models.
• Contribute to establishing data governance frameworks, including data dictionaries and entity relationship diagrams.
• Provide expert advice and support for platform upgrades and manage expert support with Talend editors.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Over 6-8 years of proven experience in ETL development and data engineering, with at least 2 years in a Lead role.
• Strong expertise in Talend (Talend Open Studio or Talend Data Integration).
• Talend certification (Developer using Talend Studio and Administrator) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, DB2).
• Experience with data integration for Salesforce CRM is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience managing Talend Platform upgrades.
• Expertise in stored procedures, SQL, query optimization, and performing impact analysis for platform upgrades.
• Experience with other data integration tools and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data services such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in structured environments with formal processes.
• Experience working with Gen AI tools like EPAM CodeMie or GHCP.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms or big data technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance practices.
