Systems Engineer - Mumbai, India

Nutanix is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Systems Engineer (SE) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. This role is crucial for partnering with the sales team, providing technical expertise on Nutanix solutions to customers and prospects. You will act as a trusted advisor, assisting customers in their transformational journey with Enterprise Cloud Technology.

Key responsibilities include delivering technical sales presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and guiding prospects through technical evaluations (Proof of Concepts - POCs). You will also collaborate with various teams to resolve customer concerns, escalate product issues, and represent the Nutanix brand.

This position is primarily on-site, with travel estimated at 50% of your time, involving customer visits and event-based opportunities. This travel is integral to understanding client needs and delivering exceptional solutions.

Your Role:

• Demonstrate features and articulate the benefits of Nutanix solutions to influence customer purchases and drive business transformation.
• Size and configure Nutanix solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, acting as their trusted resource.
• Communicate customer feedback into the Nutanix ecosystem.
• Partner with sales counterparts on account planning, customer persona coverage models, and proposal creation to design solutions based on Nutanix offerings.
• Collaborate with the wider presales team to achieve technical wins efficiently and professionally.

What You Will Bring:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Systems/Solutions Engineering.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a strong working knowledge of Information Technology.
• Hands-on technical aptitude and the agility to adapt to market demands.
• Proven team player with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
• An analytical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to clearly articulate situations and propose solution strategies.
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize urgency, and execute detailed action plans.
• High personal and professional ethics and integrity.
• A strong desire to learn, be challenged, and continuously strive for excellence.
• The ability to craft compelling narratives using whiteboards, presentations, and other media.
• Advanced virtualization knowledge and/or enterprise application expertise.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily within the territory and for event-based opportunities.
