Systems Engineer II

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain core services in private and public cloud environments.
• Build and maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration solutions.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for system provisioning, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash or Python to streamline system management and CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement innovative solutions for improved payment processing.
• Enhance the security, stability, and scalability of core services, including server provisioning, secrets management, and configuration management.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior systems engineers within the Bengaluru/Bangalore team.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for essential out-of-hours support.
• Document systems, processes, and project timelines to ensure operational clarity and team alignment.
• Continuously research and implement improvements by evaluating emerging technologies in the fintech space.
