Systems Engineer - Hybrid Role in Hyderabad

Cognizant is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our vibrant IT team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This is a permanent, full-time position operating on a hybrid model with no travel required. You will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure by leveraging your expertise in ServiceNow (SNOW) and Splunk. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of SNOW and Splunk systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy system solutions that align with business objectives.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SNOW and Splunk-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures to support operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of system-related concerns.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
• Implement security measures to protect system data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor system capacity and plan for future growth to support business expansion.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members to enhance their understanding of SNOW and Splunk functionalities.
• Participate in project planning and execution to ensure successful system integration and upgrades.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to recommend enhancements that improve system capabilities.
• Support the development of disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.

Qualifications:

• Possess a strong understanding of SNOW and Splunk systems with hands-on experience in their implementation and management.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Have a keen attention to detail to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
• Show adaptability to work in a hybrid environment and manage tasks independently.
• Display a proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving existing systems.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist and Splunk Core Certified User are highly desirable.
