Medpace is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our expanding Infrastructure Enterprise Applications Team in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, India. This team is instrumental in administering the global systems that host our enterprise applications and implementing programs that support the company's core business processes and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute traditional Windows Server administration tasks.
- Design and implement robust system solutions for vendors, developers, and end-users to facilitate the delivery of enterprise applications.
- Maintain the highest standards of system and infrastructure availability.
- Evaluate existing systems and provide essential technical guidance to IT support personnel.
- Collaborate closely with the IT Security team to address and resolve security-related vulnerabilities.
- Manage and monitor organizational systems and infrastructure in alignment with company objectives and requirements.
- Plan and implement system automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize load balancers for both web server and application environments.
- Perform PKI certificate management.
- Administer a Citrix environment for desktop and application delivery.
- Leverage an IT Service Management System (ServiceNow) for daily work management, documentation, and project tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration, including proficiency with Windows Server OS, Remote Desktop Services/Remote App, Group Policy, Active Directory, and File Server management (shares/NTFS permissions).
- At least 1 year of experience in Web Hosting Administration, including DNS, Load Balancers, IIS, Apache, and SSL/TLS Certificate Management.
- A strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth, underpinned by a solid foundation of experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated aptitude for effectively managing multiple servers, applications, and competing priorities.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with peers, end-users, and management.
